Rooms
Our Rooms range from Deluxe Doubles with private Kitchen, Deluxe Double rooms, Private double or Twin rooms, & 2 bed, 3 bed or 8 bed mixed dorm rooms.. All rooms have the use of shared bathrooms and toilets which are located on every floor of the hostel.
About Tamraght, Taghazout and surrounding areas…
Tamraght hosts long stretches of beautiful beaches with plenty of choice for waves and only a short 5 minute walk from Chill Surfer. You can even ride camels and horses on the beach or take a walk along the coast to Taghazout (takes about 1 hour) There are multiple restaurants and coffee shops within easy walking distance (2 minutes walk). Just ask Jowad (host and co owner of Chill Surfer), he’s full of local knowledge and always happy to help. Taghazout is just a short taxi ride away and hosts world famous waves, restaurants and bars. Agadir is about a 20 minute taxi ride away, home to one of the largest Souks in Africa, ATM’s and pretty much anything else you might need! It is also the closest airport to us.

Cooking Classes
Learn how to cook traditional Moroccan meals. We will take you to small villages to Shop for fresh local ingredients, then our co owner and host Jawad will show you how to cook traditional Moroccan Cuisine, such as Tagine, berber Omlette and more…. Jawad grew up near the Atlas mountains in Morocco and will share with you some of his most favourite family dishes!!

isi grathwohl2024-03-27Das Hostel liegt 5 min vom Strand entfernt und ist super schön. Mein Freund und ich haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es gab jeden Morgen frisch gekochtes Frühstück, das super lecker war. Wer will kann Tagesausflüge, die von den Besitzern organisiert werden mitmachen. Dies haben wir ausgenützt und sind auf einen Rave in der Wüste und es war unglaublich, außerdem war eine frisch gekochte Tagine inkludiert! In dem Hostel gibt eine super schöne Dachterrasse, die auch schöne Schattenplätze bietet. Die Zimmer sind groß, hell und super Sauber! Die Besitzer und Betreiber sind außerdem sehr hilfsbereit und es herrscht eine sehr angenehme familiäre Stimmung. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt verlängert und hätten uns gewünscht, noch länger zu bleiben. Wir können es nur empfehlen!

The new hostel exceeded my expectations with its clean, spacious dorms and amazing staff who went above and beyond ensuring that every request was met with a smile and a can-do attitude. The delicious breakfast buffet and home-cooked dinners were definite highlights. the terrace and rooftop were perfect spots to relax and enjoy the views, you can also hear the sounds of the waves from the terrace. Its convenient location near the beach and markets made it perfect for exploring. Already planning my return! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tamraght!

Niklas Capelle2024-03-14I spent almost two weeks at Chillsurfer Hostel and had a great time. The dorm room was clean and the terrace is an amazing meeting point for all guests and staff. The hostel was also able to organize taxi rides for me to go surf at Anchor Point or Anza. I highly recommend to join their Paradise Valley trip. But the thing I enjoyed the most about staying here were the great vibes with the team as well as guests and I can honestly say that this is an amazing hostel if you are on a solo trip and you will leave with new friendships. Thanks to Soufyane, Jawad, Tony, Jamal, Rachid and Ruth for the good times and amazing stay!
Linda Gwendolyna2024-03-14Unser Aufenthalt im Hostel war familiär und sehr entspannt. Wir haben sogar noch einige Zeit verlängert. Es gab täglich frisches,diverses Frühstück und es herrschte stets eine sehr angenehme,gesellige Atmosphäre. Man könnte meinen wir haben hier Freunde gefunden :-) Die Lage ist auch super - diverse Essenmöglichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Weg zum Strand ist auch ok,nervig sind die riesigen Luxushotels an denen man vorbeigeht, ein Grund mehr im Chillsurfer zu übernachten! Der Strand ist super fürs Surfen geeignet. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder!!

Laura Fédier2024-02-04Wir waren eine Woche lang im Chillsurfer Hostel und wir sind überwältigt. Die Atmosphäre hier ist einfach genial. Man fühlt sich sehr willkommen und wie zuhause. Die Lage ist ebenfalls top! Man ist sehr schnell bei den Surfspots und kann das Auto vorne bei der Hauptstrasse (Pharmacy) parken. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top! Das Team (Jawad, Ruth, Jamal etc.) ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wenn man etwas braucht, sind sie sofort zur Stelle. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber, so auch die Gemeinschaftsbäder. Das Hostel verfügt über mehrere Zimmer für 2 Personen und einen Dorm für 8 Personen. Frühstück: Das Frühstück war eines der Highlights dieser Unterkunft (Shakshuka, Brot, Amlou, Müesli, Fruchtsalat). Sie bereiten es immer frisch zu. Normalerweise gibt es Frühstück um 10 Uhr, aber auch wenn man mal später kommt (z.B. wenn man eine Morning-Surfsession gemacht hat) sind sie alle sehr bemüht und stehen nochmals in die Küche und kochen was für einen. Die Dachterasse ist das Wohnzimmer dieser Unterkunft. Hier trifft man sich mit dem Team, den zwei süssen Katzen (Chill und Surfer) und den anderen Hostelgästen. Auf der oberen Dachterasse gibt es Wäscheleinen, wo man seine nassen Sachen und die Neoprens aufhängen kann. Ruth bietet auch Yoga-Lessons an. Checkt mal ihr Instagram ab (ruth_susman_yoga). Wir kommen definitiv wieder hier hin. Für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub in Marokko.
Joshua Stais2024-02-04Chill Surfer Hostel: Ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt! Ich kann das Chill Surfer Hostel von Jawad, Ruth, Jamal und den anderen wärmstens empfehlen. Mein einwöchiger Aufenthalt dort war einfach unvergesslich! Alles top sauber: Das Hostel war vom ersten Moment an sauber und gepflegt. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und gemütlich, die Gemeinschaftsräume einladend und die Küche gut ausgestattet. Leckeres Frühstück: Jeden Morgen gab es ein leckeres und frisch zubereitetes Frühstück, das im Preis inbegriffen war. Das war ein toller Start in den Tag! Familiäre Atmosphäre: Jawad, Ruth, Jamal und die anderen Mitarbeiter waren unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben dafür gesorgt, dass man sich sofort wie Zuhause gefühlt hat. Es war eine tolle Atmosphäre im Hostel, man hat schnell neue Leute kennengelernt und Freundschaften geschlossen. Tolle Lage: Das Hostel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Mit Banana Point und Devils Rock wird auch jeder Surfer glücklich! In der Umgebung gibt es ebenfalls viele Restaurants, Cafés und Geschäfte. Fazit: Ich kann das Chill Surfer Hostel jedem empfehlen, der einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt in Marokko erleben möchte. Hier findet man alles, was man für einen entspannten und gleichzeitig abwechslungsreichen Urlaub braucht: Sauberkeit, leckeres Essen, freundliche Menschen und eine tolle Atmosphäre. Vielen Dank an Jawad, Ruth, Jamal und die anderen für die tolle Zeit! Wir freuen uns euch bald wieder zu sehen. P.S.: Das Hostel bietet auch Yoga Kurse an, die ich nur empfehlen kann. Karen van der Velden2024-01-15Wauw, So far definitely our favourite stay in Morocco. The staff makes sure you feel like home from te beginning. You can ask them anything, they are funny and happy to make sure you have a good time in Morokko. Food was delicious, the room was perfect, the terras is beautiful and the vibe was chill. And it's close by a beautiful surf spot called banana point. Chillsurfers is doing its name worthy.
